A room to delight in

All the top places have one. Copenhagen Plaza has a Library Room, Ritz London calls its Palm Court, The Plaza in New York has the Oak Bar and here at Fjällgården it’s called Storstugan; the hub of your stay, the heart of your experience, the pearl in the oyster. A visit to Fjällgården that does not include Storstugan is no visit at all. Come in and sit down at the fireside, feel the atmosphere, listen to the sound of ski boots, conversations, goretex fabric and sparkling drinks.

Friends are fine, but sometimes a good book and a comfortable chair is the best company. Then Fjällgården’s library is the best place to be. Here, in the oldest part of the hotel, is where you’ll find the softest seating, so that Miss Marple can solve difficult cases, Karl-Oskar and Kristina move to the States and Cathy and Heathcliff can act out their doomed passion, all by a crackling fire.
